The Petra Wall-Mount (PWM) air conditioner is a self-contained energy efficient system which is designed to offer maximum indoor comfort at a minimal cost without using valuable indoor floor space or outside ground space. This unit is the ideal product for versatile applications such as new construction, modular offices, school modernization, telecommunication structures, portable structures, and correctional facilities. Factory or field installed accessories are available to meet specific job requirements

  • Direct Drive Condenser Propeller Fans
  • All condenser fans are of the propeller axial type, which are directly mounted on the motor’s shaft. All fans run at approximately 900/1100 RPM (50/60Hz), for optimum fan efficiency and maximum sound power reduction. Fan blades are made from coated steel or aluminum for maximum corrosion resistance, and are statically and dynamically balanced before installation
  • Petra also provides its “Patented Design” for the condenser fan mounting. This new design offers low noise operation with high efficiency performance. All condenser fans are equipped with wire guards
  • All fan motors are of the high efficiency, six pole, and squirrel-cage induction type motors. They are totally enclosed, air-cooled, permanently lubricated, have internal thermal current protection and with class “F” insulation. All motors are IEC certified
  • Fully charged unit with R407c/R410a refrigerant for PWM series
  • Liquid, discharge and suction pipes are all made of L copper which is formed using the CNC highly accurate pipe bending machine to minimize pipes brazed joints and increase system reliability
  • Epoxy paint for all the exposed copper piping system of the refrigeration circuit. High (manual reset) and low (auto reset) pressure safety switches (Capsule type; factory pre-set)
  • Refrigeration circuit components are: expansion device, liquid line shut off valve, high/low safety pressure switches (capsule type; factory pre-set), charging points with charging nipples
  • Energy saving economizer function by using fresh-air cooling system instead of mechanical cooling
  • Main power entry and main power circuit breaker
  • Starting contactors for compressor, condenser fan motor and evaporator fan motor
  • Automatic restart in case of power failure
  • Internal motor overload protection for all motors
  • Temperature and room humidity control and display
  • Suction accumulator
  • External pressure relief valve
  • Pressure gauges (high and low)
  • Suction and discharge valve
  • Disposable filter drier
  • Moisture sight glass indicator
  • Finned tube electric heater
  • Emergency operation in the event of a power failure
  • Phase failure relay to monitor the main power entry (for 3 phase units only)
  • External overload relay
  • Power circuit breaker for each motor
