Petra recently supplied HVAC equipment (chillers, AHU’s, FCU’s and computer room units) to the King Hussein Cancer Center project in Amman. The contract was signed with M/S CCC-Haddadin Joint Venture as the main contractor for electromechanical & finishing works.

The project was designed by HKS Architects from the United States and supervised by SIGMA Consulting Engineers and managed by PROJACS.

The project consists of two towers with a total area 84,000 m2(904,000 ft2) The first tower contains outpatient clinics and the second tower is the main hospital with 182 beds. The two towers will be connected to the existing buildings.

Petra was awarded the project due to its ability to comply with the project design specifications in supplying energy saving low noise air cooled water chillers, hygienic air handling units, fan coil units and computer room units.
